Regional Heritage Councils
Preservation Texas members at the Patron level ($500/ year) and above are invited to join one of our nine Regional Heritage Councils. These groups play a vital role in advancing our mission at the regional level.
The purpose of each Regional Heritage Council is to develop the resources needed to ensure the success of Preservation Texas's programs and initiatives, including:
Support for Preservation Texas's professional staff
Regional Preservation Summits – Annual gatherings for preservationists, advocates, and experts to share knowledge and best practices
Regional Members-Only Field Trips – Exclusive access to historic buildings and landscapes not regularly open to the public
Historic Site Stewardship – Protecting and interpreting Texas heritage through direct preservation efforts
Technical Support – Offering preservation expertise to members and stakeholders
Public Policy Engagement – Advocating for policies that safeguard historic places

Invitation to an annual Regional Heritage Council member reception at a privately owned historic site in your region;
